Oftentimes after we have worked with clients for a while, we may notice that they have all of the knowledge of what to eat to feel better, and yet when they feel lonely or stressed they overeat to cope. While eating healthily and only when we’re hungry sounds simple, the application can be much more complex.

Join Amanda Bowers as she walks you through understanding the psychological aspect of why clients eat when they feel uncomfortable emotions such as boredom, stress, loneliness, or overwhelm. Learn simple tools to help clients manage their emotional eating, find out when to refer out, and practice self regulation.

You Will Learn:
- Why its not about the food
- Gain insight into understanding the psychological aspects of emotional eating
- Practical tools to help clients self regulate in ways that don’t involve food
- What to look for to know when to refer on
