NEWS: The Home Office and police have just told the press of their plans to massively expand facial recognition surveillance in the UK.

They want to spend £230 million of taxpayers’ money to:

🔸Use facial recognition on fixed cameras at train stations

🔸Buy a convoy of new live facial recognition vans

🔸Increase other forms of facial recognition such as facial recognition on police officers' mobile phones
