There is no respect for the lives of these little chickies when it comes to big hatcheries. Everything is industrialized and no thought is given to what is best for them. They are tossed around and vaccinated in a pretty violent way. Hatching at home allows us to give our little chicks the care and respect they should have. I also don’t have to worry about receiving dead chicks in the mail. That’s never fun.
