1963 Cheetah is One Angry Sounding Yellow Cat ! & Engine Sound on My Car Story with Lou Costabile

On "My Car Story" we're in Rosemont IL on 3-7-19 at the World of Wheels Car Show.

We're looking at a 1963 Cheetah in Yellow Paint. The car is equipped with a V8 engine.

The car's Owner is John Mayer. The story goes Bill Thomas in the mid 1960’s built a few Chevrolet race cars designed to beat the Ford Cobra on the race track, and although it’s difficult to “authenticate” some of those cars, we do not have the documentation on this car to confirm it’s a Bill Thomas Cheetah. John has raced this car and shared it does pretty good on the race track.
