"Favorite Things" Realborn Baby Pearl

This is a Realborn Baby Doll. It's kit is called Pearl Asleep and she was sculpted and painted by Karen Hutchinson from Little Dreamers Nursery in Kentucky.
These dolls are made to look like real live babies. Prices range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. Collectors from around the globe enjoy the beautiful masterpieces. Some put on display as art, while others may carry them around with them everywhere like a real child.
Realborn Baby Dolls are used as props on TV and in movies as well as many creators make careers out of taking care of & collecting them.
They are making strides in the medical field as well showing improvement in patients exposed to these dolls such as Alzheimer's and/or Dementia patients. They can aid in bringing comfort for grieving parents suffering a loss if a baby.
Likewise, people that can't have children also enjoy setting them up and moving them around. They can be a huge help with distracting people that find themselves lonely and bored. May keep them from seeking other stimulation.
