White Chicken Korma Recipe By Spice Bite | Aromatic and Flavorful Eid Special Recipes

Ingredients for Onion Paste:
-Oil 3- 4 tbsp
-Onion (Sliced) 1 cup ( Pyaz )
-Garlic cloves 8 -10 ( Garlic )
-Ginger pods 5 -7 ( Adrak )
-Green chilies 3 -4 ( Hari Mirch )
Ingredients for Almond Cashew Nut Paste:
-Almonds (soaked & peeled) 1/2 cup
-Cashew nuts 1/4 cup ( kaju )
-Water as required ( pani )
Ingredients for Chicken Marination:
-Chicken 800 grams
-Yogurt 1 cup ( Dahi )
-Lemon juice 2 tbsp
-Salt 1/2 tsp ( namak )
Ingredients for White Korma:
-Oil 1/4 cup
-Butter 2 tbsp
-Cumin seeds 1 tsp ( Zeera )
-Green cardamoms 4-5 (Choti Elaichi )
-Black pepper corns 1 tsp ( Sabut Kali Mirch )
-Black Cardamom 2 ( Bari Elacihi )
-Salt 1/2 tsp or to taste (Namak )
-White pepper powder 1/2 tsp or to taste ( Sufaid Mirch )
-Black pepper powder 1 tsp or to taste ( kali Mirch )
-Almond cashew nut paste 1/2 cup
-Cream 1/4 cup
-Water 1/2 cup or as required ( Pani )
-Fresh coriander chopped (mhara dhania )
-Ginher ( julienne ) adrak
-Green chilies (sliced) for garnishing ( Hari mirch )
-Ginger (julienne) for garnishing ( adrak )
Directions for Onion Paste Preparation:
- In a pan heat oil and add onion, garlic, ginger and cook until onion gets soft.
-Transfer it to a blender and add green chilies. Blend to make smooth paste
formed. Your onion paste is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Almond Cashew Nut Preparation:
-In a blender add almonds, cashew nuts, water and blend it well into a smooth paste.
-Your Almond Cashew Nut Paste is ready set aside.
Directions for Chicken Marination:
-In a bowl add chicken, Yogurt, lemon juice, salt and mix it
well. Marinate the chicken for 20 -30 mins. Set aside.
Directions for White Korma Preparation:
- In a pot heat oil and butter let it melted
-Add cumin seeds. Sizzle for a few seconds.
-Add green cardamoms, black pepper corns, black cardamom and sizzle for another min.
-Add onion paste and cook for 2-4 mins.
-Add chicken and cook until chicken changes color. Cover and cook for 10-15 mins.
-Now add salt, white pepper powder, black pepper powder and cook for 2 -4
mins.
-Add almond cashew nut paste and cook for 4 -5 mins.
-Add cream mix well then add water again mix well cover & cook until chicken is fully done use low flame or until oil separates.
-Add chopped fresh coriander , ginger ( julienne ) green chilies mix well
-Add butter if you want ( OPTIONAL )
-Dish it out and garnish with green chilies, ginger and serve. Your White Korma with naan.
