Ta ga Tame ni – By Whom? 誰がために(Cover)

In March 1979, the second animated TV series "Cyborg 009" based on the original Manga by Shotaro Ishinomori started. The opening song " Ta ga Tame ni – By Whom? " was sung by Ken Narita. October 22, 1945 is the birthday of singer Ken Narita.

The science fiction manga "Cyborg 009" was serialized in Weekly Shonen King on July 19, 1964. It was serialized in several publishers and magazines, and later made into a movie. The first TV anime series started on April 5, 1968. It is a manga about nine people who are abducted and converted into cyborgs by the Black Ghost, an army of death merchants operating in the world, and work for justice. It is characterized by many themes that are relevant today, such as peace and struggle, racial issues, and mutual understanding between different cultures. After the idea of completing the manga was announced, Shotaro Ishinomori died at the age of 60. His eldest son, actor and director Takeshi Onodera, reconstructed the posthumous manuscripts and wrote the complete novel "2012 009 conclusion GOD'S WAR" in three volumes.

Ken Narita passed away in 2018 (Heisei 30), but my favorite song released in the anime series "Cyborg 009" is "For Whom It May Concern," sung by Ken Narita. It is my favorite anime song.

昭和54(1979)年3月、石ノ森章太郎原作｢サイボーグ009｣テレビシリーズアニメ第２作が開始されました。オープニングソング｢誰がために｣を歌ったのは成田賢。昭和20(1945)年10月22日は歌手 成田賢の誕生日です。

ＳＦ漫画｢サイボーグ009｣は昭和39(1964)年7月19日｢週間少年キング｣で連載が開始されました。複数の出版社や雑誌で連載され、その後、映画化。昭和43(1968)年4月5日、第一期テレビアニメシリーズが開始されました。世界で暗躍する死の商人軍団｢ブラックゴースト｣によって拉致されてサイボーグに改造された9人が正義のために活躍する漫画です。特徴として、平和と闘争、人種問題や異文化相互理解等、現在に通じるテーマが多く見受けられます。完結の構想が発表された後、石ノ森章太郎氏は60歳で死去。長男で俳優・演出家である小野寺丈が遺稿を再構成し、完結編小説｢2012 009 conclusion GOD'S WAR｣全３巻を執筆しました。

平成30(2018)年、成田賢は死去されましたが、アニメシリーズ｢サイボーグ009｣で発表された楽曲で一番好きなのは成田賢が歌った｢誰がために｣。私の大好きなアニメ名曲です。
