While the position that this young little girl has found herself in is hilarious it did make us curious about what kind of sleep toddlers need. We learned quite a bit. For example, did you know that most toddlers (ages 1 to 3) sleep anywhere from 12 to 14 hours during the day! Man, sometimes I feel lucky if I can get six hours on a good night. That said, I would also feel like I had wasted my day if I slept that much, so who knows. Outside of bedtime, most toddlers take 1 to 3 hour naps during the day. Which may be why kids are capable of just passing out wherever their tired little bodies feel like it. They need so much sleep! It’s restorative and helps with the constantly growing body.
