Abba, Yah determined the real new year.
EXODUS 12 (Peshitta Aramaic Bible)
1 And LORD JEHOVAH said to Moshe and to Aaron in the land of Egypt: 2 “This month shall be to you the beginning month before me; it shall be to you for all months of the year. 3 Say to all the assembly of the children of Israel in the TENTH of this month, they shall take to them, each man, a lamb for the house and a lamb for the house of his father.
........

14 And this day will be for a remembrance to you, and make it a feast to LORD JEHOVAH, a feast to your generations; be doing it as a law for eternity. 15 SEVEN DAYS you shall eat unleavened bread, and from the FIRST DAY you shall remove the leaven from your houses, because everyone that will eat leavened bread from your houses, that soul will be lost from Israel, from the first day and unto the seventh day. 16 And the first day is called and holy, and the seventh day shall be called and holy to you, and no work shall be done in them, except whatever a son of man eats, only that will be done by you. 17 You shall keep the unleavened bread because in this day I have brought out your hosts from the land of Egypt and you shall keep this day for your generations, a law to eternity. 18 In the first month, in the fourteenth of the month in the evening you will eat unleavened bread and unto the twenty-first day of the month in the evening. 19 For seven days leaven shall not be found in your houses, because everyone that will eat leaven, that soul will be lost from the assembly of Israel, of natives and of settlers of the land. 20You shall eat no leaven; in every place of your dwelling you shall eat unleavened bread.

In Hebrew, "First day" is our Sunday.
When in first grade, we kids were taught that Sunday was the actual first day. In other words, it was the Hebrew Monday.
Then how does each month begin with Monday, as the above video states? Because we follow moon cycles.
Monday is derived from MOON DAY!
Each Hebrew month begins with the first sliver of the NEW MOON or MOONTH, the previous month ending on the actual new moon, or fully dark (empty of light) moon.

To explain why the Israelites (Hebrew has a deeper, spiritual definition) sometimes added a THIRTEEN MONTH is complicated by, first, the rabbinical calender [of the pharisees] and, then, also our modern calendar. Suffice to say that it more dependent upon the AVIV (ripening) of the barley wheat harvest.

Even the upcoming SOLAR ECLIPSE ends this sacred month, with a NEW empty MOON. Logical if you have common sense.
Therefore a NEW MONTH begins on April 09. Known as the month of AVIV. Fourteen (14) days later a FULL MOON will occur on April 23.

If we are to commemorate PASSOVER (now set at April 22), how can we possibly keep it Holy, if not beginning upon the TENTH DAY?
Note, this calendar shows the month BEFORE Aviv, the month of ADAR.

In my mind, the Passover (Pesach) should begin on April 18th.
April 09 = 01st day and April 18 = 10th day.
However, look at the moon phases and you see April 22 evening
starting with an opposite of a new moon, the night before a FULL MOON.

Passover is a week long CONVOCATION ( Rehearsal ).
A prophetic foreshadowing of Messiah 1st advent (coming), as the Lamb of Yah.

If anyone started out thinking of the Flintstones, your forgiven.
There's a story behind that, too! Just like there is this! → 🖖🏽 Hebrew!
When it comes to a Hebrew calendar and festival times, do NOT ask me!!!

It's all GREEK to me! lol

Not brought up in that culture.

As for SUNDAY, that is the Hebrew "Monday", only in the since that it is what they call "FIRST DAY", just to be clear.
