Military builders floating station, construction of the largest water conduit

The beginning of the conduit is located in the difficult terrain of the Don River floodplain with many small rivers, canals and swampy areas. The first 16 km of the conduit are laid along an artificial embankment through flooded areas.

More than 5,000 specialists and about 1,500 units of equipment were involved in the construction.

The new hydraulic structure will pass through the territory of the Rostov region and DPR to the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. The capacity of the conduit will be up to 300,000 cubic metres of water a day. The project provides for the laying of two lines of the main pipeline, 200 km each, the construction of pumping stations, electrical substations and water storage facilities for 10,000 cubic metres.
