We're joined by a very special guest, Sergeant Sharon who works for a major metropolitan Police Department in the Animal Protection Unit. Her journey is truly inspiring. She started her career not on the streets, but within the walls of the county animal shelter, working her way up from administrative assistant to caretaker.

Driven by a passion for animal welfare, she took the leap and attended the Criminal Justice Academy to become an Animal Control Officer. This unique path led her to become a sworn Animal Protection Police Officer.

Her dedication didn't stop there. She rose through the ranks, becoming an Animal Protection Police Sergeant, and is currently serving as the evening shift's field training coordinator, ensuring the next generation of officers are well-equipped to protect our vulnerable animals.

But Sergeant Sharons's impact goes beyond her community. She travels the world, sharing her expertise and conducting training programs on Animal Cruelty and Child Abuse for police agencies everywhere.
