UN slams Israel’s reported use of AI to target Hamas strongholds

Israel has reportedly been using AI targeting systems to determine the locations of Hamas positions. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has expressed concerns over this practice since the systems allegedly don’t thoroughly check the risks to civilian lives.
