DPD investigation into alleged CSC involving cop

Detroit Police are confirming that an internal affairs investigation has been launched involving a member of the department’s 11th precinct.  A spokesperson for the department also confirms the incident involves allegations of criminal sexual conduct. Details surrounding the alleged incident are not being released at this time.  Detroit Police Chief James Craig has not yet given any statements involving the case. Yet, we’re told any comments that could be made would come directly from the Chief, given that he has direct oversight over internal affairs.
