The stray dog was picked up by animal control last week and ended up at Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society. It quickly discovered that the dog, named Mishka, had an identity chip implanted in her with information about her owner who lives in San Diego. The dog was reunited with its owner and the director of the animal welfare group believes the dog was stolen and sold which is how it ended up in Michigan.
