Kevin Dayaratna: Biden administration’s EV policies are ‘futile efforts’ to avert climate change

Kevin Dayaratna, Chief Statistician and Senior Research Fellow at the Heritage Foundation, says the Biden administration’s electric vehicle mandates won’t leave a dent in global carbon emissions. “If you threw every single internal combustion engine vehicle off the road and you replaced it with an EV, you would have, again, a trifling impact on the climate. I think less than 0.07 degree Celsius temperature mitigation by the end of the century,” says Dayaratna.
