This is a tribute to one of my all-time heroes. The course footage that I've featured here is from a PDC that Bill and Geoff did at Melbourne University in 2005. This was my first time looking back on it since his passing in 2016 and it has been a gripping experience, to say the least. There is so much gold in it that I struggled to cram just some of it into this short film. I'd highly recommend anyone to watch it for Bill's stories and wit alone, which take up most of the 55 hours while the standard Permaculture curriculum becomes somewhat of a side act. The course can be purchased here: https://www.tagaripublications.com/

The rest of the footage comes from the 1991 TV series, Global Gardener. This was one of the first permaculture documentaries that I ever watched and it changed my life. The clip I used of Bill walking around his garden has stuck with me for years and I hope that if this is your first time seeing it, it will move you as much as it did me. The DVD can be ordered here: http://www.bullfrogfilms.com/catalog/...

The interview at the end was captured by EcoFilm at the International Permaculture Convergence in Motovun, Croatia in June 2005. You can watch the full interview on her YouTube channel here:

Lastly, is the stirring speech given by Geoff Lawton, which was taken from his YouTube Channel: / @discoverpermaculture
I also highly recommend taking part in Geoff's online Permaculture Design Certificate Course, which has been invaluable to me and many others: https://www.discoverpermaculture.com/

I have also used 3 fantastic photos from unknown photographers, so if anybody knows who they are, please contact me so I can add their credits here.
