They had previously fled Canada after the country started investigating them for a number of crimes related to rape and sexual abuse.

And then fled to Mexico after they got caught doing the same in Guatemala.

There’s a lot of similarities between this sect and the one in Kiryas Joel.

Both get millions in funding from unknown international sources and government aid.
