A Ribbon Threaded Through A Bill Leaves No Trace Of Damage

When a magician borrows money or a watch from an audience member, you can expect a degree of destruction is about to take place.
This exhibit is no exception.
A borrowed bill is placed inside an open sleeve. A bobbin with a ribbon threaded to it is now pushed through the sleeve and the enclosed bill. It's obvious to all that the insertion is reasonable, and yet, upon disassembling the collection the bill is handed back to the owner free of any damage.
