Israel works outside of international law – Palestinian envoy to Russia

Land Day has been a fixture of Palestinian resistance since 1976, recalling the events of March 30th that year, when a protest erupted after Israel ordered that an area of land the size of around 3-thousand football pitches be seized in Galilee. Palestinians remember the day with protests and by planting olive trees – a symbol of attachment to their land.

The Palestinian ambassador to Russia explained to RT that the event is a reminder of the suffering of his people.
