Luffy meet Zoro's first time

Luffy first meets Roronoa Zoro, also known as the Great Swordsman, on Shell Island in One Piece manga and anime, chapter 3, page 8, and episode 1. Luffy and Koby arrive to find Zoro, a bounty hunter, being held captive by Captain Morgan. Luffy and Coby travel to the town a few days before Zoro's scheduled release, with Luffy inviting Zoro to be his first crew member.
