Asslamoalaikum, sisters brothers and friends we are discribing about Which animal was mentioned directly in the Quran?

There are more than 200 verses in the Quran dealing with animals and six chapters of the Quran are named after animals or insects: Surat 2, Al Baqarah (The Cow); Surat 6, Al Anaam (The Cattle), Surat 16, Al Nahl (The Bees); Surat 27, Al Naml (The Ants); Surat 29, Al Ankabut (The Spider); and Surat 105, Al Fil (The Elephent)

1. Al Baqarah, The title of this surah refers to an argument between Moses and the Israelites over a cow they should sacrifice in order to make known the murder of a slain man

2. Al Anaam, This Surah takes its name from ayah 136, 138 and 139 in which some superstitious beliefs of the idolatrous Arabs concerning the lawfulness of some cattle (an`am) and the unlawfulness of some others have been refuted.

3. Al Nahl, Chapter 16, 68-69, talks about a variety of topics, but Allah specifically chose the title The Bee to catch the attention of the readers. Bees are said to be Allah's miracles; the way they function and how they behave, are to be held as an example

4. The Surah (chapter) consists of 93 verses, and due to the verse No. 18, which is about ants and Solomon. Thus, it is called An-Naml (The Ant)

5. The sura has been named Ankabut because of ayat no. 41 which talks of the fragility of the false gods, comparing them to the web of a spider

6. The principal subject of the surah al fil is a specific historic event. The year of Muhammad's birth is identified as 'the Year of the Elephant', when Mecca was attacked by Abraha accompanied by an elephant

May Allah make us of those who eat and drink Halal and Tayyib food in joy and turn to Him in ultimate gratitude and remembrance as a result. May Allah nourish our bodies and our souls and grant Aafiya (wellbeing) to us and our families. Ameen

And Allah knows best.
