As high pressure rolls into the area, the day will gradually improve in the weather department. Any lingering shower or patch of drizzle will move out, then some sunshine will make its return as the afternoon wears on. Highs will be on the mild side with readings topping out in the low-50s this afternoon. Tonight, expect a quiet night with any remaining clouds clearing. Lows will drop into the upper-20s, and it is possible that a few areas could see a little patchy fog with light winds and temperatures dropping to around the dew point. Most of us should have a beauty of a day on Wednesday with the exception of some folks near Lake Michigan. We'll have plenty of sun and highs in the mid-50s. If the winds turn due southerly, they may bend southeast right near the lake, cooling folks down there. Clouds will be on the increase on Wednesday night with lows in the low- to mid-30s. Thursday looks dry with highs in the mid-40s. Friday night going into Saturday, a system will be swinging on through. This may bring some rain or snow in spots, but it's still a little early to make any call on who would see what. Also, the weekend is looking cool for this time of year.
