The sad calming quiet of an empty home

It happens every time my mom, sister, brother in law, their four kids and dog come to visit. It’s a beautiful tornado of chaos, laughter, kids, yelling, playing, joy and so so many messes 😂 but when they leave I’m home alone in the quiet, to clean. Finding little things they forgot and feeling the heaviness in my heart until I see them again. Counting my blessings that we get to see each other as often as we do and that the husbands, kids and even the dogs seem to love each other ❤️ see you in July KayKay❤️
