WHY DOES GOD WAIT?

Why did God wait 4000 years to manifest Himself the first time? And why has He waited 2,000 years to manifest Himself the second time? (Clue: HE didn’t: "Christophany")

WHATS THE REAL WAR?

Republican vs democrat?
Conservative vs liberal?
America vs China?
Red vs blue?
Black vs white?
Rich vs poor?
North vs south?
East vs west?
Man vs man?
Man vs women?

None of these. The War is:

Good vs evil
God vs satan
True vs false

ANSWERS TO WHY GOD WAITS:

1. Motive matters
2. Waited 4k yrs to prove a point.
3. People are not the enemy, they are the object of God's affection.
4. Because the end result matters.
5. Not mere goodness, but genuine Love and reciprocated.

SCRIPTURES:

GOD THE SLACKER? ~ II Peter 3:9-13

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and Godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells."

THE HUSBANDMAN WAITS ~ James 5:7-9

‭"Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!"

A LONG JOURNEY ~ Mark 13:32-37

"But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."
