22-Year-Old Believes Late Sister Contacts Her Through Car Radio

The driver’s sister, Kristie, passed away 8 years ago and she recently moved home to their home state, Arizona. The 22-year-old driver was passing by the hospital her sister spent her last days in and naturally and by association - emotions swelled in her eyes. In that exact moment, her car radio was playing a song which original lyrics go “I just came to say hello”, while here it clearly says “Hey Kristie says hello.”

What are the odds of this happening? Coincidences are not just things that are unlikely to happen. They consist of an amazing variety of experiences, and still, something more than rarity forces us to feel an emotional pang or uneasiness that lingers with us long after the event settles and fades. Occurrences such as this song playing right in such an emotional moment, documented on camera, just leave us with a feeling that the fabric of life has rippled. The question is where this feeling comes from and why do we notice certain ways in which the threads of our lives collide while ignoring others. Skeptics might say it is perhaps because people don’t understand probability.
