GATHER TOGETHER TO ENCOURAGE AND STRENGTHEN EACH OTHER

1 Thessalonians 5:11 New King James Version
11 Therefore [a]comfort each other and [b]edify one another, just as you also are doing.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

You know guys, every time I read this passage of scripture, I'm reminded of just how important it is to encourage, reassure, and support fellow believers. I'm also reminded of the important fact that the church is not a building, but it's the people within the building. I have seen an experienced the taking out of context of passages of scripture such as Hebrews 10:25, to browbeat, gaslight, and intimidate people into attending not only a particular church, but into frequently attending that particular church. I've learned throughout the years what it really means to assembled together with other believers, and it's certainly not based on how many times a week you're inside a building. I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional, really encouraged my heart in this matter, because I've had moments where I need encouragement myself, and God has used people to bring encouragement to me. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will challenge and encourage you through them too.

When have you felt encouraged after leaving a worship service? Why?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has shown me from His Word on this issue, throughout the years, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you on this matter, encourages you to see just what, make that WHO the church really is, and that you will want to be part of that precious body of Christ. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will encourage and motivate you to be a support and reassurance to others.

Who needs your support and reassurance?

I pray tonight, my friends, that you realize and see not just what, but WHO the church really is, and that you are able to experience that precious truth whenever you gather together with fellow believers in Christ. Realize that it is important to gather together with other believers, so that we encourage and strengthen each other, but it's not based on how many times we're in there when those church doors are open. Just remember guys, that the purpose of meeting together, is for worship and encouragement, so be that support, reassurance, and encouragement to every brother and sister in Christ around you.
