STRAHAN | ZEEHAN | QUEENSTOWN | TASMANIA'S RUGGED WEST COAST | HENTY RIVER OCEAN BEACH

Episode 5. In this episode we hit up Tasmania’s Rugged West Coast! We take the Chevy up Ocean Beach to the (impassable) Henty River and then down to Hells Gates, camp up in a ‘party street’ in Trial Harbour, spend time in Queenstown, Strahan and Zeehan … and it all kicks off along the infamous ’99 Bends’ into Queenstown.

PLEASE NOTE - when we did the 4x4 track at the end of the video - It's an awesome drive with amazing places to camp, but sadly we didn't fit. The Chev is a wide truck (which we know!) and that plus the crazy weather that came through helped us make the decision to turn around. The GoPro went flat as did the other camera we film with, so we didn't get much footage. Don't let this put you off exploring this incredible part of Tasmania! Just maybe think twice if you drive a wide vehicle like we do :)
