2007 Thyssenkrupp Hydraulic Elevator @ Mount Arlington Train Station - Mount Arlington, New Jersey

Recorded on 3/29/24. I have probably passed by this station thousands of times in my lifetime and never stopped here to see trains or see if there is an elevator at this station. Seeing this station from Interstate 80, identifying if this Tstation had an elevator or not was debatable. This station does not have weekend service so I felt it would be weird if I went when nobody was there. I finally stopped at this station on the way to Pennsylvania on a Friday afternoon. I was very surprised to see a Thyssenkrupp Aurora elevator in a train station! I guess this elevator was installed right around the same time the Ridgewood Station elevators were put in since those elevators are also Thyssenkrupp. However, this elevator is not holding up well. I can see why vandal-resistant fixtures are usually used on transit elevators. Anyway, enjoy!
