This recording is the only version of this Easter Hymn that exists on the internet, at least at the time of publishing, April 2024! A big thanks to Jacob, a listener who requested this song from his church's hymnal. It's such a delight to present to you "Oh Who Among the Sons of Men", a theologically rich, melodic hymn that will have you singing along after just one listen!

If you enjoyed this song, consider saving to your favourite Sunday or Inspirational playlist on Spotify or Apple Music to listen again in the future and help these songs reach more people. Even if your playlist has even just two likes or if it's just for you to listen to, it does actually help so much with the song getting heard by others, and also makes my day to see that people are enjoying it in their everyday lives.
I also make custom hymn videos by request- just let me know what I might be able to do for you and your church!

Lyrics:

Verse 1:
Oh who among the sons of men
By word or song or deed or pen
Can ever fittingly convey
The meaning of this blessed day
It gilds the holy sacred page
It brings to every clime and age
To every people, tribe, and race
The story of redeeming grace

Verse 2:
The blessed Paschal feast of old
With mystic meaning does unfold
For there the Paschal lamb was slain
The Hebrews' safety to attain
When angels saw the blood applied
Upon the lintel doorpost wide
Then they passed over every home
In mercy, where the blood was shown.

Verse 3:
Christ is the world's dear Paschal Lamb
He is the great "I Was, I Am"
Through Calvary's pain and dismal gloom
He conquered over death and tomb
He rose, His own to justify
And draws all men up to the sky
If you have found the Christ, His way,
Then you can keep this Easter Day.
