Storm Shield Forecast morning update 3/23/18
6 years ago
2
The skies are clearing as the storm finally passes, leaving us to assess the damage. We're dry today with a breeze behind the storm. You'll notice it in the mountains but it's really picking up speed into the desert, however those winds aren't enough to stop your travels. Valley air quality will be fantastic with afternoon highs dropping several degrees as that clean air rushes in. Expect just the low to mid-60s in the valley with the upper 50s in the Kern River Valley, low 50s in the south mountains and upper 60s in the desert.
