In typical Democrat fashion, Gavin Newson has decided to use a little security theater to give the appearance that he’s addressing Oakland’s rampant crime problem. He is hoping it will silence residents who are forced to deal with it on a daily basis. This is when more policing would have the same effect and actually solve a lot of the crime in the city.
