Gladiator Sequel Kills Jesus?

Gladiator 2 is set to come out in theaters in November starring Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington. There was a script that was written by artist Nick Cave who was asked by Russell Crowe to come up with a good reason to do a sequel. It didn't make the cut as it had Maximus coming back to life and going back in time to kill Jesus.
