Why Jesus took the Crucifixion for us.

Friday Reading: Psalm 22:1-18, Isaiah 59:2, Matthew 27:1-‬66, Mark 15:1-47, Luke 23:1-56, John 14:16, 18:25 -19:42

Jesus had fulfilled about 28 Old Covenant (Testament) prophecies! I’ve listed 4 out of the 28.
Read:
•Micah 5:2 tells us the Messiah will be born in Bethlehem.
Luke 2:4-7 Jesus was born in Bethlehem.
•Zachariah 11:12-13 says that this Messiah will be betrayed for 30 pieces of silver. Matthew 26:15 Jesus was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver.
•Psalm chapter 22 says that this Messiah will be pierced in His hands/wrists and feet. Matthew 27:35 Jesus was pierced in His hands/wrists and feet. This prophecy is amazing because it was written about 800 years before crucifixion was ever used for punishment.
•Number 9:12 tells us the Lamb of God will have no broken bones and will die before morning. John 19:31-33. Because it was Preparation Day for Sabbath as the Jews broke the legs of the two thieves but when they got to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they DID NOT BREAK break His legs.

Although Palm Holy Week this year, 2024 does not lined up with the Hebrew calendar. The Gregorian calendar that we follow faulty have made Resurrection next Sunday, March 31. It has to do with the moon patterns from my understanding. Maybe celebrate it twice this year?! 🥰
