Alpine has recently unveiled a "groundbreaking" supercar that operates solely on water.

However in 1976 during the oil crisis Stanley Meyer created a car that runs purely water based, on the principle of splitting water atoms into its elemental form, burning hydrogen to create energy and releasing oxygen which generated no emissions.

Well this whole theory was called "conspiracy" and "unproven" and it was scraped, while Meyer ended up dead without his technology ever seeing the light of the day.

Now, evidently they are using the same technological principles but considering the anticipated price tag of several million dollars for this car, it becomes apparent that only a 0,1% of the population will ever have the privilege of owning it.

Since this seems to be the case, such exclusivity is completely acceptable.
