Israeli airstrike kills at least 42 in Syria part 1

Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon have killed
the deputy head of Hezbollah's rocket unit, the
country's military has confirmed.
The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) said its air force
assassinated Ali Abdel-Hassan Naim, who it says
was in charge of the rocket and missile unit and
co-ordinated the routes of rockets fired at Israel.
Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA)
said "a raid by an enemy drone targeted a car" in
Bazuriyeh, in the Tyre district, leaving at least one
person dead. A Lebanese military source,
requesting anonymity, said the person killed was
"a Hezbollah official".
It came as Israel conducted a number of attacks
on Hezbollah and Iranian militants in Syria, where
they had been deployed to support President
Assad's regime. The strikes have targeted senior
members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards
Corps and Hezbollah militants and arms supplies.
