Chemical Abortion

Mifepristone is a chemical abortion pill that blocks progesterone and works with another drug misoprostol, a contraction-causing drug, to terminate pregnancy through 10 weeks gestation. 61% of district 39 constituents responded in a community survey that they do not support abortion at any point or after 6 weeks (when a heartbeat is detected).
