Tech Probably ISN’T To Blame for Teen Issues

They say that teens using tech is responsible for their depression and anxiety. But although they've both risen together, there's no reason to believe the former causes the latter.

In fact, a much more plausible theory is that depression and anxiety is the result of helicopter parenting and the loss of autonomy in the life of teens, which they seek to regain online because they can't anywhere else.
