A Green Spot Travels Mysteriously From One Card To Another

A traffic light of course consists of three coloured circles. Here is a baffling demonstration illustrating the flight of one of those circles. Two cards are shown.
On one, there are three spots bearing the three colours of a traffic light.
The other card is blank. By simply touching the two cards together, the magician causes the green spot to jump from one card to the other.
The audience can examine both cards.
