The farmers have had enough. These people don't have time off as a rule. Farming is not a profession where such luxuries are possible, so if farmers are driven to protest in London in significant numbers, things must be getting very bad. Shop from farmers direct at farmers' markets if you can, support independent shops which source their produce locally and wherever possible, avoid supermarkets.
