Google Home Mishears "Steamies" as "Semen"

Smart Speakers are revolutionary. Whether you own Google Home, Amazon Echo or use Siri, we can all agree that getting our answers from everyday questions through voice commands saves time, energy and opens up entire avenues of ways to learn new things. Sometimes, however, our smart devices can mishear what we say and results are nothing short of hilarious. In this video, a little boy asks Google Home how “Steamies” (short for steam engines) work and Google Home hears, “Semen.” Luckily, Mom behind the camera has a good sense of humor about the whole thing, laughing throughout Google Home’s rather detailed explanation of semen to her young children.
