PRUNING TO CREATE A FRUITFUL BELIEVER IN CHRIST

Tel me something my friends.

What fruit do others see in you?

Do they see that beautiful fruit of the spirit from Christ Jesus radiating in you? Whether it's from afar or up-close do they see the fruit the only His Holy Spirit can produce? That's something I ask myself every day, and i pray that you're asking that of yourself too.
Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from His Word, on what it means to be a fruitful believer in Christ Jesus, and I pray that what I share with you Will both enable and prepare you to do so. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that God will use this as a challenge to your heart to want to allow Him to prune you so that you can bear fruit for Christ Jesus.

How might you be more fruitful?

One thing is for certain on this, as Mike Wittmer this morning's devotional writer stated, “Our fruit need not be spectacular. But it must be supernatural, such as love, joy, and peace in hard times (Galatians5:22).” My prayer for all of you tonight, is this. I pray that you allow God to till, prune, and do whatever is needed to the soil of your heart, to the vine that is you, so that you are producing good, quality fruit for Christ Jesus. I pray that you are relying on the Holy Spirit every day so that you can bear that fruit for Christ, and that if you were having any moments in which you were struggling to bear that fruit, to come to the Lord and ask Him to help continue to prune you period to take away anything that is keeping you from bearing that fruit, so that whether near or far, when people encounter you, they see the fruit that Christ Jesus is producing in you, and that they will bottom line see Christ Jesus in you. https://www.ccphilly.org/do-you-know-him/
