Plot: In modern New York City a mermaid falls in love with a human man.

After a series of dark, disastrous film releases attempting to appeal to adult audiences, studio chief Ron Miller created the Touchstone Pictures label to release this film and others like it. However, Eisner took the credit when he gained control of the Walt Disney Company.
