S✨U*icide friend 😞

😞Suicide. I think I witnessed an Internet friend of mine commit suicide live on Facebook last night. It was night here but day in New Jersey where she was. She left my friends group I made and all day was posting about needing help, how she hates the world, then posted a photo of her bloody wrist, then last post saying goodbye. I was one of a few people who saw her posts live. Me and a few other of her friends were commenting and she was responding to me for a while. I tried to say some encouraging words and gave her a link to a mental health free chat that helped me a few times a few months ago.

Earlier she posted a bunch of stuff about Palestine and Israel. I know people get themselves wrapped up in geopolitics and war they witness online from far away and get involved or emotional. Well, it's not worth getting so emotional if it's not personally affecting you or your family in my opinion. She also posted cryptic posts the past few months about some bad relationship that ended I think.

She really liked my ancient history posts. She liked Greek mythology. She seemed like she had a rough life. Italian American girl maybe 30-35 lived near NYC in Jersey. This kinda sucks. I didn't know her personally and I can't confirm anything about her, even if her picture she used online was real, or who they really were.

I have encountered many people, especially the last few years, who created a fake identity online, saying they are American when really they are Nigerian or Algerian or something, that I expose them of eventually sometimes especially if they are scammers. Also people who act as a woman online but are really a man. Many people posting fake photos of themselves. Her name was associated with Achilles, the hero, who has one weakness of his Achilles heel.

I really hope she or they just went offline and maybe got some help. The account went dark. I checked again this morning when I woke up and wrote this. Posting this picture. Dang man, that's a new experience I wasn't planning on having. I hope it wasn't anything I contributed too somehow. If you see this my internet friend, sorry for your pain, and I hope you see this, and apologies for airing out your business in public, but I had to write this. Life is precious man, it's never worth dying for nothing!

Wild wild horses, come take me away. Suicide is something I never ever ever EVER considered. It boggles my mind even it happens. Like Anthony Bourdain, Robin Williams, Hunter S Thompson .... Wtf. Well that puts a monkey wrench in my day. But gotta keep it moving.
