Baltimore, Maryland: Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapses After Being Hit By Container Ship DALI

At 1:30AM today the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland collapsed after Singapore Flagged container ship Dali.

Operated by charter vessel company Synergy Group and owned by Singapore-based Grace Ocean Pte.

While leaving the Port of Baltimore, the crew signaled to Maryland's Department of Transportation that they lost power.

The reports vary, but the DHS reports that at least 20 individuals are missing, and believed to be in the water. Two people have been recovered so far: one unharmed, and one in serious condition.

All lanes of the I-695 Key bridge are closed, no pollution resulted, and the United States Coast Guard closed the waterway into Baltimore Harbor.
