Israel Cancels Diplomatic Visit to US after It Abstains From Gaza Ceasefire Resolution

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has cancelled a high-level delegation's visit to the US after Washington abstained from a UN Security Council vote demanding a ceasefire in Gaza, marking a shift in US-Israel relations. PM Netanyahu's close aides and Israel's war cabinet members were due to travel to Washington in order to discuss Israel's looming Rafah offensive which the Biden administration opposes.
