Man shot at Canton gas station; suspected shooter in custody

Canton police are investigating a shooting at a gas station this afternoon on Ford and Haggerty roads.  Police said a man was shot once by an acquaintance at the Valero Gas Station around 2:45 p.m. The man who police believe is the shooter was identified at the scene and taken into custody.  The shooting victim was transported to a local hospital.  Police believe there is no threat to the community.
