Why is it WOKE? | Disney Investor Calls Out Company Over Flops

Billionaire investor Nelson Peltz has been in a battle with the Disney board and the company’s CEO Bob Iger over a series of commercial failures the company has faced in recent years.

Nelson Peltz has been trying to appeal to shareholders directly in order to get them to vote out a couple of Bob Iger’s board members and replace them with people that will push back against Iger. These investor calls are usually a mundane affair, but this year both parties are essentially launching campaigns with Peltz pointing out how Disney’s current board has lost billions for shareholders with many board members not even having personal investments in the company.
