General Motors is ending a relationship with two data brokers after a customer filed

A Florida resident filed a lawsuit earlier this month alleging General Motors and OnStar violated privacy and consumer protection laws by sharing his speeding, braking and acceleration with LexisNexis, who then shared it with insurers. GM released a statement saying the company previously shared limited driver data through an optional program however as of March 20th, they are no longer sharing data with LexisNexis or Verisk.
