Real-time updates on the Moscow attack: With 133 deaths, according to Putin, four gunmen have been apprehended. The Russian security services have captured four shooters who were directly involved in the incident at Crocus City Hall.

Four gunmen actively engaged in the Crocus attack The assertion made by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday that the four attackers of a concert outside of Moscow were on their way to Ukraine when they were apprehended has drawn criticism for being "absurd." Putin promised that those who ordered the attack will be "justly and inexorably punished" in a speech to the country that followed the bombing that claimed at least 133 lives. "They tried to hide and traveled towards Ukraine, where, according to preliminary data, a window was prepared for them from the Ukrainian side to pass the state boundary," he said, referring to the individuals who are currently being held by Russian security authorities.
Mykhaylo Podolyak, an assistant to Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, had earlier dismissed as "absurd" any assertions made by the Russian intelligence services that Ukraine was complicit in the attack.
According to the state Investigative Committee of Russia, 133 individuals, including children, had died.

The attack, which is the bloodiest to strike Russia since terrorists killed 334 people during the Beslan school siege in 2004, has been attributed to ISIS.
