8 simple exercises which can be done to relieve neck pain at home. These exercises are very effective to reduce neck pain in short period of time as witnessed by my patients. These exercises can be done by people of all age group.

Neck pain is one of the most common complains I hear from my patients and also from people who have desk jobs. This pain is also common among kids, teenagers who are playing video games, studying in a poor/awkward seated posture. These pains are caused by overuse, repetitive movements of the neck which hinders performance of daily activities. The common causes of neck pain are stress, spondylosis, arthritis, muscle strain, etc. These pains are common in people over 60 years, people doing manual labor, people who have prolonged seating posture for work etc.

These exercises does not require any equipment. These exercises will also help to strengthen the muscles of neck and shoulder blades. These exercises are recommended to be done twice a day.
